It appears that all around us things are changing at a particularly fast rate. The major contributing factor to all of the change appears to be the rise in the amount of folks who live in the US. With the rise in numbers in the population the urban areas are spreading our further from the center of the town. As the town areas grow more of the people expands into the rural areas. Less and less land is being used for farming ; instead it is being developed into housing. Some years back my partner and I spotted rich people were getting lots on lakes. They’d find cottages for sale along the lakes area and would demolish the cottage and replace it with a big new structure. We spotted many smaller lakes that we were fond of fishing on where all of a sudden besieged by big houses. The massive houses took away the north woods feeling from the lake.
My man and I had debated finding cottages for sale that we could fix up and have as a get away. We made a decision one Sat.
afternoon to go for a drive around 2 lakes that we have always enjoyed. One of the lakes is enormous and the other was smaller, but there’s a channel that goes from this tiny lake into a bigger lake. A great portion of this lake and the surrounding area where in a state park. We returned to the area to work out if anything was on the market. We turned down one tiny road we had never been on before.
The road led straight to what had been a little resort.
2 of the cottages for sale had been updated inside the previous 6 to seven years. The cottages were close to thee edge of the lake and were besieged by pine trees. It definitely was an extremely pretty setting, but we were worried about who would do the upkeep on the road when it snowed. I’m sure that it’s only a matter of time before we find the ideal place for us.
